The Challenge

Americanos explains that prior to the partnership between Infomatrix and LogiXML, the UK-based company was itself in need of solutions. “I was directing the search for technologies that we could use to add value to our services. We needed to focus less on building custom software and more on solving our clients’ most challenging problems. We have proven expertise in building reports, but the ability to use a strong, continually improved, standards-based BI platform would allow us to focus all our talent on other elements of our solutions.”

“Of course, we did not take our choice of a BI partner lightly. We evaluated LogiXML from a long-term perspective, projecting how well they would meet our future needs in three, six and ten years. In our view, LogiXML had the product, the people and the vision for the long run.”

The Solution

Infomatrix has incorporated LogiXML BI technology into several projects. This has greatly facilitated the key task of Infomatrix, which is to focus on delivering solutions. “In many cases, core legacy applications are sound, but the presentation of data to users is in need of drastic improvement. Now, our ability to surround the core application with advanced user-facing technology for reporting and analysis is being very well received by our customers,” says Americanos.

The Results

• A recent agreement between Infomatrix and its business partner Stalis has been signed. This ensures that OneView will be supplied to the UK Southern cluster NHS Trusts
• Commercial property firm Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has standardized OneView as their preferred integration platform to deliver information to their largest clients
• Since then, LSH has secured leading industry awards, including the “UK’s Most Active National Agent” and “Industrial Agency Team of the Year”
• One of the primary types of software used by UK commercial property agents is known as Tramps. Infomatrix has designed OneView for Tramps, which displays handy information about properties, units and leases in a dynamic Web environment. This is supported by a full events diary, along with Logi Ad Hoc Reporting by subject matter and category. OneView seamlessly integrates BI into its Role-based User Panel Interface.
