The Challenge
When Abso set out to add a business intelligence platform to complement
their core HR offering they turned to LogiXML. “We were looking for
a platform that complemented our architecture with a pure Web-based, standards-based
implementation,” notes Abso software developer Kevin Nabb. “But
that was just the first step. We needed strong functionality and ease-of-use
features so that we could provide our customers with a range of reporting
and analysis options.”
The Solution
“The Logi Info managed reporting tools help us provide our customers
with a range of reporting options to use a variety of charts and graphs
to analyze their requisitions, review applicants in progress and to better
understand the status of applicants in their systems. We even provide a
Logi-based tool that customers can use to analyze their Abso billing process.”
The Results
“We have also extended the Logi Ad Hoc end user analysis tool to
our users so they can build their own customer analysis based on their
data managed in the Abso applications. We can anticipate many of their
reporting needs but customers know their data and their industry’s
needs best. The Logi Ad Hoc based tools provide our customers with the
means to creatively analyze and visualize their HR data.”
The Abso development team is even using the Logi platform for internal
reporting. “Our web site is the window our customers have into our
company so we developed a Logi Info report to track our Web site development
process. This served as a centralized resource for the development team
to track our progress, list fixes and development priorities and to send
automated alerts about critical issues,” adds Nabb.
Wertheim notes that, “The Abso service is an evolving and expanding
